Thomas The Train Tank Engine Videos

The first episode is entitled, “The Missing Coach.” In this episode the video starts out with the twins Donald and Douglas going to work, but as you know there is soon a lesson that the twins will learn. The also have to over come the other trains who were poking fun of them, but the twins did not take it lying down. The immediately set the other trains straight. Towards the middle of the episode we see the worlds favorite little blue train make its appearance.

This episode features a side of Thomas that many have never seen. The little blue tank engine actually gets upset at one of the twins.

You will find that many British people complained about this episode. When it was featured on American television, the networks took out the British narration which was the original and replaced it with an American accent. Many British parents and educators began to complain about this and wanted their native Thomas the train to remain the same no matter where in the world his videos where being showed.

Heave Ho, Thomas!

Welcome to another episode of Thomas and Friends. This episode is based on the Railway Series by the Rev W Awdry. In this episode we see Thomas early on as he welcomes the views to the Island of Sodar.

One morning as Thomas pulls into the station he meets a new engine, named Hank. Sir TopHam Hat gives Thomas his daily duty and reveals that he has to take Hank with him. During their travels Hank inadvertently calls Thomas a little engine. Thomas thinks that he is being cheeky and gets upset. Thomas sets out to prove that he is more than just a little engine and that he was capable of carrying big loads.

Every time that Hank offers to help Thomas with his load Thomas politely says, “No Thank You” and continues on. Finally Thomas was finally over loaded, but the little engine did not give up until he ended up cracking his cylinder. As the two sat on the tracks Thomas finally confessed that he needed help, and asked Hank for his help. Hank helped Thomas complete his task and that made it back to the station on time and Thomas realized exactly how special he really was.

Thomas and Friends - Misty Island Rescue

In this fully animated Thomas the train series you will notice a slight change as compared to the normal stop-bit-animation style series. This episode was meant to be more of a music video. Although its a music video if you listen to the words of the song it still has the over all positive message that Thomas and his friends are known for delivering. I personally found it to be pretty nice until my nephew replayed the video a million times. I would hear this song in my sleep :D.

You must be warned... You should only play this video at your own risk. You child may also go running around the house singing it over and over again also. If this should occur you can in no way hold myself or anyone affiliated with the thomasthetrainfansite.com website responsible. :D

Thomas and Friends in Calling All Engines - “The Deleted Scenes”

This video gives you an your child the rare opportunity to see some of the scenes that has never before been released. This video pretty much consists of a bunch of unused material that the production company never used, all put together over a musical score. If you pay attention to some of the deleted clips it will become apparent why they decided not to use some of the clips.

You can tell that on some clips that camera went soft, and other clips you can see where they had problems with the animation. However most of the clips that were never used were cut from the final show do to time restraints. When being aired on television the creators of thomas are limited to a specific amount of time. Because of the time restraints they have to pick and choose which footage will stay in and which footage must be removed.

Other Creative Ideas

You can also print out several coloring pages, let your kids color them all then place the page in sequence to make up your on story. I have had some parents tell me that they will use a three-hole punch and bread yarn to make little customized books that were written using our coloring pages.

Some teachers would allow the children to make up segments of the story for each page. Once they had enough pages with text on them to create and entire story they would bind the pages into a book and parents would trade and share their creations. Parents would also use these books as bedtime stories for their other siblings.

Parents, teachers and other childcare educators around the world have been using are online directory of printable sheets for years. It is advisable that you too take advantage of the great free resource for the little ones in your life.
