The Scope on Losing the Baby Fat

by Teresa Brown

Nothing is more frustrating than watching celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez losing the baby fat without losing their minds. Obviously it can be difficult to see their seemingly effortless success and we often assume it’s because they have a million dollars to drop on the latest magical diet pill. The truth is that the movie mommies who want to burn the baby fat in a healthy way rely on two things: a personal trainer and a nutritionist. Clearly you don’t have to have tons of cash to lose tons of weight.

A Certified Personal Trainer:

Movie moms are paid to train with professionals to get their pre-baby body back. However, the basics are the same for them and you – boost your metabolism! Most trainers will have their famous clientele mix up their cardio in fun and challenging ways. Some interval training with basic jogs piled with quick sprints will boost the metabolism and burn the baby fat.

With free weights you are sculpting the flabby arms with the overhead press and bicep and tricep curls. Plus when you’re done exercising your body will be rebuilding and repairing your muscles, burning more calories for you all day.

The word on the “fitness” street is that resistance training is the training of choice for moms looking to losing the baby fat. This type of training works to strenghten your muscular system by working several muscle groups at a time. The more muscle groups you activate, the more calories you burn.

Cardio interval programs help to strengthen your heart while escalating your endurance. Instead of running on a treadmill for hours professional trainers will try and mix it up. You can start with an easy trot then change it to a quick sprint while slowing down to a jog again. Using a pyramid method like this or increasing your sprint speed or time each workout session can be done as well.

Personal Chef:

Having a skilled chef in the kitchen may take the heat off you but it isn’t necessary. Losing the baby fat won’t be hard once you schedule in your six smaller meals each day instead of starving yourself and eating all your food at dinner. It’s important to keep pecking on healthy foods all day like a handful of almonds or a bowl of blueberries.

Losing the baby fat will be easier when you’ve planned out your favorite dishes. To save time try and cook a big batch of hearty soup at the beginning of the week and heat bowls up when you need a hot lunch. Buy groceries for a week full of planned meals so you never have to run to the store.

You don’t have to have buckets of bucks or a herd of paparazzi following you to lose the baby fat. Just planning out your week both with exercise and food will free up your time to spend with baby and family. Celebrity starlet success isn’t because of the green they spend but the green they eat. Trim your tummy like a star by being on top of your health plan!
