Wonderful introduction to reading
I purchased the LeapFrog Learn to Read Complete Phonics System
for my daughter and she really enjoys learning from all the books. If you are familiar with Hooked on Phonics, then you will find this approach similar. However, I found this Leapfrog learning system a lot better because it is interactive. Your child can use the pen to mouse over each letter and hear how each of them sound to make a word. The end of each book is like a summary, reinforcing what your child just read with more games and questions.
