(PRWEB) August 25, 2006

Designed to take the monotony out of classroom based Health and Safety training, a new suite of EazySafe Presenter products using the animated character “Sam the Safety Man”, have just been launched for both the UK and Irish marketplaces.

One of Europe’s leading experts in Health and Safety training, Phoenix Safety has spent the past 12 months researching and developing a series of highly entertaining and student friendly training modules. The result of this R&D is a suite of presentations specifically designed for Health and Safety instructors. Over 20 different courses have been developed which include full moving animations, sound and the facility for the instructor to tailor course content to suit their individual requirements.

CEO, Sean Fennell is convinced that the future of learning lies in stimulating the audience and ensuring maximum information retention, “Extensive market research was conducted among the thousands of students who come through our facilities each year. The results showed that students wanted more fun, stimulation and higher standards in the presentation material”

“Our customers are very excited about these new products with over 30 companies now providing their students with a fresh approach to safety education, these companies can now expect to see significant improvements in the levels of safety awareness in the workplace”, he said.

As well as enhancing the level of knowledge retention, trainers themselves can benefit from time savings and a more professional image to their training. Many of the delicate subjects such as Sexual Harassment and Bullying in the Workplace can be addressed in a more relaxed environment for employees.

One of the most important aspects to delivering safety training is to ensure a balance of material presented to students. For example, over emphasis of legislation is a sure-fire way to put your students to sleep. Keeping your material fresh and engaging is the key to maintaining student’s attention. Safety trainer’s need to understand the changing demands of the learning environment and it is no longer acceptable to produce stale and uninteresting content.

Written by IOSH qualified safety experts EazySafe Presenter is currently available in English for UK or Irish legislation. Plans are currently in place to launch a French version with other country rollouts over the coming months.

Ways to train German Shepherd

Aggression is a desirable trait in the German Shepherd, but excessive aggression can be dangerous for the owner or others who come in contact with the dog.

German Shepherds are known for their intelligence and desire to please their masters.

However, proper training for the German Shepherd is necessary to develop these qualities.

Some aggression is inherent in the German Shepherd breed and proper training is needed to avoid overly aggressive dogs.

Since excessive aggression is generally seen in the adult dog of the species, it is very important for the German Shepherd to receive proper training as early as possible (after 8 weeks of age).

When buying an adult German Shepherd, it is important to identify and avoid those dogs that are overly aggressive.

It is normal for dogs to show some predatory or territorial aggression towards unfamiliar people entering their domain.

Expert help and special training classes might be necessary if your dog frequently acts threatened and shows fear based aggression.

The following ideas will help prevent excessive aggressiveness in your dog. 1. Create a friendly training environment for your dog by allowing him to interact with your family and friends.

Socialize your dog with other dogs. Keep your dog’s away from aggressive dogs to prevent harm to your dog or adverse influences on his behavior.

Keep your dog on the leash and if necessary, shock him if he becomes aggressive.

Your dog will calm down in time as he learns to control his behavior to prevent discomfort.

It is important to proceed slowly and be patient as you work with your dog, because punishment will not help you train him.

Finding Your Own Dog Training Advice

Dog training advice is created so that owners and trainers are well guided with the dos and the don’ts when it comes to training their canine friends. Always make that you provide a fun and eventful training for your canine friend. Training shouldn’t be a torture session but instead it should serve as a bonding occasion between you and your dog. Today, there are a lot of training materials that can give you dog training advices. Some trainers and owners even surf and download a step by step guide in training dogs on the internet. Training dogs in particular requires a lot of time, effort and most of all patience. Always remember that dogs are like children. Some learns faster than others. Always make sure that the current lessons or the previous lessons are already well mastered before you start teaching your dog some new tricks again. This is done to avoid confusion. Recap on previous lessons is important so that your dog will never forget what you have taught him.

Having a dog around will simply mean that you are accepting new sets of responsibilities. Training dogs is a routinely thing that you must practice everyday. Never rush any lessons when you train your dog. Some tricks takes a longer time to learn compared to others. If you want your dog to simply be a pet then you can only train him with basic tricks and basic practices. But, if you are planning on having your dog as a companion or a friend, then a more detailed dog training advice is what you need. You can start your training with a simple routine everyday especially if you are just training puppies. Never train your dog if you had a bad day in the office because you are already frustrated and you should not channel these negative feelings toward your dog. Dogs are sensitive. They can sense these frustrations and if you started to vent these out negatively, they will become scared and unfit for any training. The proper place to train a dog at first is inside your home because he might find it difficult to focus when you’re in the park. There are too many things that are happening around him. Aside from that, most of the dog training advice will tell all trainers and owners to refrain from hitting their dogs. You should not hit your dog at all because hitting them will not make them absorbs each lesson faster but instead they will start to learn and build a more aggressive character.

The most effective way on how to make your dog follow your command or order is to reward or praise them every now and then especially if they have been a good dog. Dogs are similar to human beings. They also wanted to be praised, acknowledged and rewarded. Other types of dog training advice will tell you to treat your dogs by giving him snacks whenever he fully learns new tricks because some trainers believe that even dogs need some motivation and these treats serve just that.
